Thursday at the Congressional Black Caucus Town Hall on Civil Rights, Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) said the election of President Donald Trump emboldened racists to “to put on those hoods, put on those sheets.”
Lewis said, “When we had this most recent election, it helped create the climate and environment to bring out something that had been a little asleep, and people feel like now they can just get away with doing everything.”
He added, “The man that some people voted for just made it very comfortable for people to put on those hoods, put on those sheets, and I tell you, if we’re not mindful or watchful, we are going to go back.."

Lewis is a LIAR...caught the Hillary Lying Virus just as many have.
So Mr. Lewis, why are some blacks marching in the streets, with masks on their faces, and chanting "what do we want? Dead Cops. When do we want it? Now." ? Did Trump cause that too? Mr Lewis is the ultimate racist in sterotyping a ultra small minority, onto an entire race of people. Mr. Lewis has demonstrated that he can not be believed or taken seriously, by the very nature of his public statements.
I honestly know very very few white people who dislike black people on principle.

I don't believe I am in any way racist. I don't believe that 90% of the people I know are racist and none of them are young. I don't know ANYONE who would put on sheets and go out lynching people, nor have I heard of any recent lynchings.
If I am completely wrong and John Lewis is right that people are more comfortable putting on sheets, what has Trump EVER said about black people? I think Obama and MSM is much more to blame for race relations than Trump.

The only ones I have seen with hoods on is the Antifa crowd with their black face masks and their black outfits and their clubs and shields and chemical bottles. But they come in peace. I also see a lot of black on white crime, not so much white on black crime. Prime example, look at happened at the Cook Out the other night. I think a lot of that has come out and it has come out since Obama was in office so IF there are more white sheets out there I would maybe examine that as being a reason for it.
Lewis was a courageous young man when he marched with MLK. At that time we had genuine injustices built into laws and practices in many parts of our country.
The laws have changed and so have the practices. And so has Lewis and the rest of the older black legislators.
No, I'm sure he doesn't wear a hood and white sheets but he has chosen to stay on the Democrat plantation and mouth their slogans because the pay is good and the job carries prestige. He did this knowing full well that Democrats started, ran and embodied the philosophies of the KKK.

Racism is very profitable into their bank accounts. But when the rubber meets the road where are they? No where around. Where were they with the Flint water crisis? What have they done to help? Nadda. They have helped destroy the cities by helping them keep voting Democrat. Democrats are responsible for Jim Crow, slavery and going against civil rights and yet they want the masses to stay Democrat. Can someone explain this logic to Me?
