“France is a great country, it's a beautiful country,” President Donald Trump told President Emmanuel Macron of France when they met in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on Monday.
Trump praised the dinner the two leaders had on top of the Eiffel Tower, and he also mentioned being Macron’s guest at France’s Bastille Day parade – “one of the greatest parades I’ve ever seen,” Trump said, adding that he wants a military parade in Washington:
It was two hours on the button, and it was military might, and I think a tremendous thing for France and for the spirit of France. And people don't know what great warriors they are in France, but when you see that and you see all the victories, it was a tremendous thing.

Why not? It was done after the first Iraq war in the 90s, with none other than Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf marching.
Thank you President Trump for pointing out what great warriors the French are. They got a bad rap back in WWI and WWII and Vietnam but now, they are true warriors.
There's nothing like a big parade to celebrate where you live.
I'm all for it. That would be awesome.
Great idea!
Used to have them all the time in NYC
No, we don't need to flaunt our armed services with a stupid parade.. Just use them to destroy the others countries like korea.
