Halo café (shelter behind Acme - formerly Giant) needs volunteers to help serve meals.

There is a volunteer meeting this Sunday at 2 pm.

No need to sign up just show up and be ready to give an hour a day, week, or month. Any time you are available.

Kashmir, a great Led Zeppelin tribute band, is playing at the Freeman Stage tomorrow night on Friday at 7:00 pm. Only $20. Used to catch them all the time along with NeverNever at Breaktime in Salisbury. Never thought I would miss that place but I do. Looking forward to seeing and hearing a great cover band - close by, outdoors and inexpensive!

Fresh, new and eventually exciting group of vacationers coming this Saturday!!!! Yeppie with excitement as they play frogger going across coastal highway. Or better yet, attempt to tip-toe the boardwalk in a straight line after many spirits.

Always entertaining when a new crop enters our town!!!!!!

Senate released preliminary healthcare bill. Needs a little work; democrats are kicking and screaming.

4:39, as a conservative, it's still ObamaCare Light...too many freebies, too much still goes to the illegals. All this must come to a halt...haven't heard if we can 'purchase' over state lines, and if 'tort reform' is included...

1:48 PM - I remember seeing Led Zeppelin in 1970 for $7. I've seen Kashmir, too, at Breaktime. They do a great job.

Is there any area of this town that isn't torn up by road construction. Every way I turn there is some sort of block or wait. I have never seen one town so messed up at one time.
