A high turnout of Republican voters is believed to have boosted Karen Handel to victory in Georgia's special election Tuesday.
Democrat Jon Ossoff was favored in most polls entering the election that determined who would replace former Rep. Tom Price, who now serves as heath and human services secretary. According to Politico, Ossoff's defeat came down to numbers on the Republican side.
More than 259,000 votes had been counted as of Wednesday afternoon, a high number for a special election..

This goes to show that the resolve of the republican party is strong and we are content being the silent majority when polls are taken. That or polls are inherently bias!
Ossoff said that they would have won if they hadn't run out of Democrats and Independents. I suspect that many of those Democrats and Independents voted against Ossoff after seeing the light.
This should be a concern for the President , the democrats are slowly losing ground , there could be attempts on Trump because they don't have a whole lot of choices .
Democrats have LOST the working man platform. The progressive left is now the new platform and it is ONLY concerned with extreme violence,being a victim, banishing, public humiliation, stopping traffic (working people) and attacking the white male for being white.... They have no real leadership and no real goals. This is why I LEFT the party after a lifetime of helping... I am not the only one..
$23 million spent on the Dem campaign, as I understand, Much of it from non-Georgians who are big Dem supporters... Rosie, for instance. Reminds me of the Chicago money that financed Jake Day's run against Debbie Campbell on a much larger scale.

Clear evidence that the mentally-ill facet of the party has taken complete control of it.
This proves that polling is irrelevant now. I suspect that most people did not answer their phones or care to be polled but voted their conscience. I will not believe polls any longer and haven't since the Presid. election.
