When are these people going to learn how to take care of their own children. The imbeciles believe the nonsense that it takes a village and see how well that's working out for them. It takes a mother AND a father both of who are positive role models and in the child's life on a regular basis. It doesn't take a 'community center.' It takes a family a real family and not just a baby machine leg spreader and a thug sperm inserted. It's unfortunate that dishonesty and lying is all what politicians are about. If Day and the rest of the politicians had one ounce of honest blood in their rank lying bodies they would tell them what the problem really was and not keep on with their constantly lying and saying oh it's all a lack of 'community centers' and the other lies they tell.

Well, to be fair, they do pay sales taxes, gasoline taxes, etc., and even property taxes through their landlords. It's a neighborhood troubled by poverty, poor education, language barriers and an overabundance of kids who become liabilities to the public, many of them children of the same circumstances.
Somehow the chain of events and life circumstances and the practice of just throwing money at them have to change to make any difference at all. Community centers help, but they can't be overseen by people who will accept lack of effort or criminal behavior or who don't offer structure and remedial help and good moral guidance. Those kinds of people, who are all to often waiting for a grant-paid position, are not the ones needed; we've seen too many of them take the money then sit their behinds down for the duration doing less than nothing to help the kids be better and be more. We're tired of seeing those familiar faces of entitlement who elbow in to get their take. They know who they are, and they should not be welcomed to raise others' children.

Reminds me of politicians, spending taxpayers money. They love spending other peoples money. How about a break, spend it on our own families. There was a turd on Tucker Carlson last night. All he talked about was money. Each time a question was presented, the answer was throw money at it. I believe Tucker said they had had many years to solve the issue and again it was MONEY. The guy didn't even realize what he looked like, he was so programmed to act a fool. Most of the people here in town don't have families, the sperm donors are referred to "my babies daddy". Damn it, it is not our place to support you, we have a family to feed ourselves. Politicians have forgot their purpose...We the people

An area of poverty, poor education and language barriers does not need a community center. They need to get a job or two or three like everyone else does to support their families, they also need to get an education instead of skipping school and acting like idiots in school by not working to do better and take language classes instead of getting people to interrupt for them instead of learning to communicate. A community center does none of this to help them only another place to gather and tear up something. The parents also need to be a parent teach right from wrong and quit spreading hate for other races and police. Quit telling them the law doesn't apply to them. I could go on, but until you change the home life these feel good gestures are a waste of time and money.

Don't be an idiot you stupid moron!! The tax payers fund everything they buy, "sales taxes, gasoline taxes, etc., and even property taxes through their landlords." Typical response from an uninformed Libtard!!

All the white people there were just city employees. Muir Boda is the only white person that lives in that neighborhood and his ethnicity is questionable.

Just like Jim Liarton, Jake Day makes city employees and department heads attend these things to make it look like there is more people there.

Jake Day has the police officers going to Doverdale Park to play lacrosse with the black kids in that neighborhood. DUH!! That won't last long because they only want to play African-Americanball.

And the question that many have been asking, who paid for those hot dogs?

Who paid for the freebies, hot dots, etc. That was funny. Give you one guess, bet it wasn't out of the pocket out the bleeding hearts that attended, unless they are on the tax man's radar.

Jake Day says if you buy the little thugettes hotdogs, crime will go down.
