South Carolina won its first women’s N.C.A.A. basketball title on Sunday with a victory that represented a diversity of opportunity both for coaches and teams playing for a championship.

Did not see the game. Not a BB fan. However, after coaching school age kids in multiple sports for years I fully expected Mississippi State to be flat for this game after their big win over UCONN. This is very typical performance for the first game after an emotional victory.
Not trying to detract from South Carolina, they still had to play their game.
Who cares it's women's basketball the real game is tonight.
