Where are they located?Do they have a lodge for members? Elks on the Shore has outgrown their little guy status. he OC lodge prices exceed what is available for other commercial businesses PLUS they share $80 for membership.
If you check their 990's prior to this year their location was in Locke, N.Y. The 2016 990 doesn't even have a signature on the tax form. I can say that this individual has been known to attempt to collect money from individuals to hunt on property he had no permission to hunt on.
It was all good until I saw the name Joe Austin not the person I would let on my property but don't worry he'll just trespass anyway.
Joe Austin and DOA Outfitters are about as shady of a business as you will ever find. I would bet it's a scam so he can get a place to take paying customers check out there 501c3 papers
If he is on my property, I hope he has his beard and tail feathers on display.

It is true, Liberty Lodge was founded in Locke, NY by a wounded veteran, that has always worked closely with Joe. When the founder could no longer complete the business duties, Joe stepped in and the non profit was transferred to him in 2016. He is legitimate and always been a strong supporter of veterans.
I'm sure you saw the horrible slanderous remarks. I'm not taking this lyng down. I'm pissed. These remarks are wrong and a threat on my life
Incredible how some cowardly anonymous idiots can't compete with my well respected business so they resort to slander.
Refreshing to see the the word getting out on this nothing less than a con man owner at Doa. It is well known on several occasions he collected on NC bear hunts and never bothered showing up .no less than stealing from these hunters. In a recent incident Doa had hunters here in NJ trespassing as had no turkey land to hunt.doa in a sense stole $4400. From these innocent victims as had paid for continuing hunts in MD and de. These claims will be coming forward.make no mistake about it,this is nothing short of thievery.in conclusion if liberty lodge ever had any credibility it is certainly lost forever now.
Law enforcement on its way for your comments. It's illegal in the state of Maryland to make these comments.
