Williams: Trump and College Chaos

If one needed more evidence of the steep decay in academia, Donald Trump's victory provided it. Let's begin by examining the responses to his win, not only among our wet-behind-the-ears college students, many of whom act like kindergarteners, but also among college professors and administrators.

The University of Michigan's distressed students were provided with Play-Doh and coloring books, as they sought comfort and distraction. A University of Michigan professor postponed an exam after many students complained about their "serious stress" over the election results. Cornell University held a campus-wide "cry-in," with officials handing out tissues and hot chocolate.

One Cornell student said, "I'm looking into flights back to Bangladesh right now so I can remove myself before Trump repatriates me."

The College Fix reported that "a dorm at the University of Pennsylvania ... hosted a post-election 'Breathing Space' for students stressed out by election results that included cuddling with cats and a puppy, coloring and crafting, and snacks such as tea and chocolate."

My only question is if these "college" educated young people cannot deal with the democratic process then how are they going to deal with the rest of their life and the challenges they will face? They will be under psychiatric care the rest of their lives or live as indoctrinated zombies or both.

The University of Michigan's distressed students are going to be even more distressed when Ohio State kicks their ass on Saturday!

Please carry your liberal foreign ass back to your own country. Most of us don't want you here and you are not welcomed.

Cut off their Federal Grants and Student Loans.

Time to cut funding to these colleges that teach closed minded intolerance and hate.

Careful that we don't let the press make us believe that this is all students on any of these campuses. The numbers are in the minority, but, as is often the case, it's a loud minority, helped along and exaggerated by the MSM.

10:12 Well who is going to write the code for your video games and apps? Certainly not your offspring. How many medical doctors in your family? SMH.

Looks like we are going to have an entire generation of snowflakes passed over because they just can't handle being told no! Send them to a third world hell hole to teach them just how good they have it here! Looks like they all need something they didn't get when they were children, which is a good spanking!!!!!

I am elated over their misery. Perhaps many of them will consider suicide.

If they can be brainwashed into crying by you they can be brainwashed into killing for you.

Sounds like a good time to buy Play Doh stock since it appears college bookstores will now be stocking it.
