Grandpa went to bed early. You are stuck with me tonight. You're welcome :)
God Bless SbyNews staff!!!!
There goes our Revenue Cap. I guess people just don't read those amendments, they just think they should go along with them...
thank you guys as usual your the only ones giving us any local news
You're joking, right, 7:09? Did you read these amendments? Not a single one has to do with the revenue cap. The revenue cap is intact.
Guess Culver's effort to convince everyone to vote no backfired. The voters sure left him with egg on his face.
All the amendments passed and we can take from that people don't understand what they are being asked an simply vote for the change.
12:16 PM I think that was the point Cannon and Co. pulled off a take over of the Executive's Job. This Council has essentially removed any power of this executive. Cannon wants to be the ruler and he will stoop to any tactic to pull it off.
This only proves how totally worthless this Council truly is.
3:40 how did they pull a "take over" of the executive's job? Please explain how these amendments removed the powers of the executive. I'll bet a nice steak dinner that you can't back up your statement with any substance, since these amendments didn't come close to doing that.
And Cannon and Co didn't do this, the voters did. Of course, you and 12:16 seem to think the voters don't know what they are doing. You know, that's what all the liberals around here say about the voters when they enacted the revenue cap. You and your liberal buddies may not think much of local voters, but I think they are smart enough to know what's going on. In this case, they were smart enough not to listen when Bob told them how to vote. Bob lost big here, and no one should think otherwise.
I like Cannon, i'm 12:16 but let's be honest. The chances of every single amendment passing all at once is ridiculously low. Hell I took my time reading and it began to blur together. Granted I voted for some and against others but I was tempted to just shade and leave. I went there to vote for Trump, nothing more. I certainly voted for Harris and the repub who lost, the lady, I forget her name.
