Study: Russia Used Fake News to Influence US Election

A surge of "fake news" during the election was supported by a Russian propaganda campaign that cranked out misleading articles read by millions to fuel distrust in U.S. democracy and its leaders, according to a new study reported by The Washington Post.

"They want to essentially erode faith in the U.S. government or U.S. government interests," Clint Watts, a fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, told the Post. "This was their standard mode during the Cold War. The problem is that this was hard to do before social media."

Russia, LOL! Russia and all the other countries were hoping Trump would win. They have all had enough of Hillary's crap.

The Republican party's anti Trump antics, the DNC's cheesy Trump rally attacks, the name calling, and Hillary's total hate of "half the nation" of Deplorables, was enough to bring Middle America to the polls.

No one needed lies made up by "Russians", as the truths were over and above enough! The "Russian" meme is tossed out to us as someone to blame instead of the real authors right here in this Country! The MSM, the DNC, and the Clinton mafia. They hate sunshine, so they throw a red herring out in case the bloodhounds get too close!

Propaganda is rampant online and in all of the mainstream media. Don't believe any of it. I have great faith in the spirit of the majority of Americans who are patriots and love their country. All we the people can do is live our own lives doing what we know is right and changing what is wrong if we can. I believe this spirit will prevail in spite of all the propaganda, rumors and false information that they expect us to believe. We have to hang onto this spirit as hard as we can.
