I recall seeing this cartoon as a kid and it is still just a true now, even more so, than it was way back then. I personally think that the cartoon is much older than 50 years, that is only 1966. I would say that it was 1936.
The cartoon is in Technicolor which was not used in a real movie until 1939. I would guess the date to be mid to late 1940s.
It's from 1948.
And it's possibly more relevant today than it was even then.
I also remember it.
