Atheist Group's Anti-Ark Encounter Billboard Rejected

Two billboard companies have refused to display an advertisement by an atheist group to protest the Ark Encounter amusement park in Kentucky.

Tri-State Freethinkers president Jim Helton tells news outlets the group recently raised $10,000 for a billboard. The proposed design depicts Noah's Ark with people drowning around it and the words, "Genocide and Incest Park: Celebrating 2,000 years of myths."

Helton says the group is considering erecting the billboard outside of Kentucky, if it can find a taker.

I don't rant and rave about someone not believing in God so atheists need to leave others alone. Are they antagonizing Muslims?

They are too sensitive to leave anyone alone.
Proof.

While what the billboard says is technically true, I find that it's probably in poor taste and will more than likely hurt their cause. Flies with honey right?

The billboard company certainly has every right to reject whatever they want within the limits of the law. I would be curious to hear what reasoning they have for rejecting the sign.

Keep in mind that their target is the Ark Museum. At a certain point you have to separate the crazy from the religion. I certainly wouldn't hold back criticism of Westboro Baptist just because they call themselves a religious group.
I see stuff like this Ark museum and the creationist museum as just a business scheme to make money off Evangelicals.

The shame is the propaganda this ark park sells to innocent children.

Good for the billboard companies.

4:25, you can't honestly say you believe all of that Bible stuff, it is a book of good life stories, and fables. It is filled with inconsistency, and improbabilities, that are more fantasy than an Hollywood blockbuster! As far as the other crap, this is what the Morons wanted when they voted for "Change".

7:47 YES, as we keep uncovering more in archeology of the old world we are finding more and more evidence that the bible is a collection of fables.

Too bad, a real God would be nice to think is watching and gives a damn about us under the rule of the Muslim Idiot.

7:47 has never read any one story from a real Bible, I'd bet!

7:47....You don't really believe that some molecules came together and not only just "came to life" (in a process that no one can explain, but we are asked to accept that event as "science", sort of like "have faith-- this is what happened)), but knew they needed a cell wall with all the complex and various chemical exchanges necessary to keep that cell functioning (if a single process doesn't happen (i.e., the exchange of sodium or the development of a nucleus) then the cell dies). THEN somehow, some way, they came up with a way (those were some REALLY smart organic molecules) to COPY THEMSELVES. It was a MIRACLE!!! Oh right. You don't believe in miracles.
I don't want to even start on how much science expects us to "accept" without proof or explanation.
There are some really big holes in "evolution" the Big Bang, and the origins of life. Really big. ANY scientist will readily admit that.
And YOU have the audacity to ridicule people who have faith? Just not the faith YOU share.
Brilliant.

Note that the Atheists are condemning genocide and incest without an ethical premise upon which to do so. They refers to genocide when it was not. They condemn incest as does the Bible, contextually. They erroneously imply that Genesis was written 2,000 years ago.
