The holder of a Syrian passport found near the body of one of the gunmen who died in Friday night's attacks in Paris was registered as a refugee in several European countries last month, authorities said.
The man, identified by Serbian authorities only by his initials A.A., came into Europe through the Greek island of Leros, where he was processed on Oct. 3, Greek officials said on Saturday. He was among 70 refugees who arrived on a small vessel from Turkey.
Serbian authorities said on Sunday the same man had been registered at a border crossing from Macedonia into Serbia a few days later.
The information is significant because if one or more of the Paris gunmen turned out to have come into Europe among refugees and migrants fleeing war-torn countries, this could change the political debate about accepting refugees.
"One of the suspected terrorists, A.A., who is of interest to the French security agencies, was registered on the Presevo border crossing on October 7 this year, where he formally sought asylum," the Serbian interior ministry said in a statement.
"Checks have confirmed that his details match those of the person who on October 3 was identified in Greece. There was no Interpol warrant issued against this person."
A spokeswoman for the Croatian interior ministry said the man was registered in the country's Opatovac refugee camp on Oct. 8 and from there he crossed into Hungary and then Austria.
"There was no (police) record about him at the time of registration and there was no reason for us to stop him in any way," she said.

I find it interesting how even MSN immediately began speculating if these were related to IS, Al Qeada, or if the terrorist had just meet at a MOSQUE. Not a synagogue, not a church, not even a soccer game! Apparently, even they aren't buying the whole religion of peace deal anymore!

You think our local law enforcement is spread thin now? WHEN something like the Paris incident happens here again there will likely be simultaneous incidents or incidents back to back. Our resources will be spread so thin they will be rendered ineffective. BE PREPARED!! Stock up on food and water. Have alternate methods of cooking/heating water ready for sustained use. Generators and a supply of fuel for intermittent use should be a strong consideration. Prepare as if a hurricane were coming. I'm not suggesting a doomsday prophecy but rather a way to minimize the need to depend on infrastructure which is vulnerable to attack by these animals. For those who live in the city - establish a plan with friends who live on well water to secure a fresh water source for your family. Without water life ceases to exist. Without clean water, bacteria and viruses will make life immeasurably miserable. Without good health you cannot carry out the the tasks like food preparation and self defense that we take for granted everyday. Don't think you can go out in the woods and hunt for food - thousands of others will have the same idea and local forests and fields will stop yielding in a week or two at most. The 72 hour preparation recommended by FEMA will be completely inadequate. With the recent declaration made by ISIS that the next attack will be here it is clear that we have been warned. If we just assume that these are just scare tactics we will be at an extreme disadvantage on a local level when we realize we were wrong.

I'm wondering....why didn't those HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of young men stay in their own country and fight for change? A two hundred thousand man military force is very, very formidable. Answer? They came to Europe to terrorize and take over.
Obama wants "we, the people" to believe that they won't do any of that here, but ISIS just said "America is next". obama must have missed that announcement.
Keep in mind the 3 day rule --- 3 days without food, water, and electricity and your best friend and neighbor will start shooting you for those things. And its coming.
