Incident: Assault

Date of Incident: 8 May 2015

Location: 300 block of Virginia Avenue, Delmar, MD

Suspect: Robert Lee Cornish, 50,Delmar, MD

                                 

Narrative: On 8 May 2015 at 7:30PM a deputy responded to investigate a reported stabbing that occurred in the300 block of Virginia Avenue in Delmar, MD. During the investigation the deputymet with a male victim who was cut across the chest and bleeding. The victimstated that he was approached by a known subject, Robert Lee Cornish, whoappeared to be upset with the victim. According to the victim, Cornish cut himwith a utility knife.

The deputy located Cornish andtook him into custody. Upon arrest, he was transported to the Central BookingUnit where he was processed and taken in front of the District CourtCommissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Cornish inthe Detention Center in lieu of $100,000.00 bond.

Charges: Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree and Reckless Endangerment

Incident: Possession of Heroin

Date of Incident: 7 May 2015

Location: Beaglin Park Drive, Salisbury, MD

Suspect: Erica Nicole Watson, 30,Salisbury, MD

                                 

Narrative: On 7 May 2015 at11:56 PM a deputy stopped a vehicle operated by Erica Watson for a registrationviolation. During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy discovered thatWatson not only did not have a driver's license, but that her privilege to drivehad been suspended by the State of Maryland. The deputy placed Watson underarrest and upon a search located what was identified as heroin and a needle inher purse.

The deputy transported Watson tothe Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of theDistrict Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner releasedWatson on Personal Recognizance.

Charges: Possession of CDS, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving While Suspended
