Jockey Club: Unrest Won't Impact Preakness

The recent unrest in Baltimore will not impact the Preakness festivities set for next weekend, with the race taking place Saturday.

That's according to the president of the Maryland Jockey Club, Sal Sinatra.

He told Maryland's News This Week that security is always tight for the Preakness, with Baltimore City Police working with the National guard and private security.

Sinatra says the threat of any unrest has greatly subsided.

Never has because they rent out parking spots and use stolen grocery carts to ferry your beer and coolers to the gates. Making money and not paying taxes trumps civil rights.
