Maker of M&Ms says too much sugar is a bad thing

NEW YORK — One of the biggest candy companies in the world wants you to lay off the sugar.

Mars, which makes M&Ms, Snickers and Twix, said Friday that it supports government recommendations to limit sugar intake and label sweets with the amount of added sugar they contain.

The move is a significant departure for a company that sells chocolate and confectionery treats. But it comes as more processed food companies have been eliminating artificial ingredients and moving toward transparency in labeling.

Finally they're letting the public in on how dangerous chemical preservatives and artificial sweeteners, etc. are to human health! Educate yourselves! It could add many more years to your life!
