Cancerous tumor confirmed on Susquehanna River small mouth bass: By Ray Wallace

The cancerous tumor was confirmed by both the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Aquatic Animal Health Laboratory at Michigan State University....

     Karen Murphy, acting secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, said "There is no evidence that carcinomas in fish present any health hazard to humans.”...

     The [Pennsylvania Fish and Boat] commission first documented disease-related mortality in young-of-year bass in the Susquehanna River in 2005, and an ongoing decline in abundance of bass in the river....

of course not no evidence that all the radiation pouring into the pacific will harm humans or the gulf oil spill either. Trust us! we are your government and we are here to help and protect you!

I wonder what the rate of cancerous tumors in people is. One in 22,000 seems really low.

I'm not saying that our rivers all get straight "A"s, but come on, Ray.
