Who's Not Being Truthful?

One thing I can't stand in life is a LIAR. It's one thing to tell a little white lie to someone but when you are the Mayor of a City and you just flat out LIE to tens of thousands of people, that's just BS.

When it comes to removing snow from your sidewalks, it's NOT 6 hours after the last snow flake. It's 24 HOURS after the last snow flake. That's what's in the Charter Ladies & Gentlemen. The Mayor LIED to you once again and so did the local Media.

Again, it's all about letting the Mayor tell you or put it in writing and the local press will just run with it as if it's gospel. I share this because here on the Shore the snow is melted 24 hours after it falls and YOU should know the TRUTH.

Did anyone get fined between the 6 and 24 hour time point?

Impeach the mayor.

Local media are sheep. They accept whatever is given to them without research or checking facts. Thank goodness you aren't that way.

This law is probably written for slumlords and businesses. What about the older people who just can't do it and have no one to help them? The City should find another way to do this without being punitive to those unable physically or financially to abide by the "rules". This exhibits no sense of community.

can't clean the sidewalk when the street we need to get to work hasn't been plowed. it was over 30 hours before the street to our business was plowed, and we had no way to get into the parking lot. behind the rt. 50 post office.
so, we have no way to clear sidewalks if we can't get to them.
between culver and ireton, for only 7 inches of snow, this operation was the worst i've seen since the 90's.

Here's a fact. I live in city limits, pay my city taxes, but yet after three days of having not one plow clear my street and doing most of it by hand. I had to call in and request a plow. Oh but jimmy wants my sidewalk cleared within 6 hours, he can shove it. Not to mention, my trash or recyclables haven't been picked up all week either

The extreme cold made this an unusual event. The snow stuck around for a week without melting much and there is plenty left now after the rain.

Frederickson said the school parking lots and sideways were cleared and ready to accept students. Well saw several posts from angry parents on Facebook posting their children were falling because things are NOT clear. So i call BS on Frederickson too.

If Frederickson is such a hot shot on snow removal, let him take on all the city streets. I thought state and county did a decent job. They had issues with blowing snow, no excuse in city.

Several teachers and students fell today at my school because of the ice. Some sidewalks were blocked as well as a couple of doors heading outside. Good thing there wasnt a fire today or there could have been some problems. Great job WCBOE.

Fredericksen opposing Ireton? Bless your innocent little heart.

Implying that Fredericksen would lie to make a point? that he would lie to make others look bad? I'm shocked.

Sidewalks on school properties/entranceways to school doors are the responsibility of the individual building service workers, NOT the snow removal crews.

Ms. Ireton seems to have a problem telling the truth just like our nigerian king!
