Notice that the person was never charged with a DUI for smoking Marijuana and driving ?

I just wanted to point that out because there have been a number of stories about how there is an increase in people driving while stoned since pot laws have been relaxed.

My point to this is that we have always seen reports of police smelling pot in cars and then arresting the driver but never charge the driver with DUI.

Bottom line is that driving while stoned is not on the rise. It has always happened. Its just now a big deal because people are finally looking into this since its been decriminalized in certain areas.

Driving while intoxicated under any drug is just plain wrong and dangerous. I just don't think the situation is any worse because they allow people to get high in Colorado.

marijuana should not be legal until a test is devised to measure thc levels at the time of suspicion.. like a breathalyzer...
