SAVAGE, Md. (WJZ) — Howard County police have charged the owner of Savage restaurant for secretly videotaping woman as they used the bathroom.
The investigation began in May 2014 when a women reported to police that she was in the restroom at Rams Head Tavern on Foundry Street when a digital video camera fell onto the floor next to her.
Detectives reviewed the footage on the camera’s memory card and found an image of an unknown man placing the camera in the bathroom. Six unknown women were captured on the video.
Investigators looked through surveillance video from the restaurant and saw a man fitting the physical and clothing description of the man mounting the camera on the tape. They identified him as 37-year-old Kyle Muehlhauser.
Lab results in December also indicated Muehlhauser’s DNA matched what was found on the camera.
