After radical jihadists murdered their way through Paris in a three-day rampage that left 17 dead, France hasdeclared its own war on terror.
Appearing on Saturday in Evry, a town just south of Paris, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said the country is at war against radical Islam.
“We are at war — not a war against a religion, not a war against a civilization, but to defend our values, which are universal,” he proclaimed.
“It is a war against terrorism, against jihadism, against radical Islam, against everything that is aimed at breaking fraternity, freedom, solidarity,” Valls continued.
“We cannot let pass a single one of these messages, or a single one of these acts. Our indignation must be clear, total and last longer than three days. It must be permanent.
“We need standards, values and authority. There must be a firm message about the values of the republic and secularism.

Has anyone noticed the main stream media has been pushing this idea that Obama Has Simply Turned His back on France in the wake of the France bombing ? I am no Obama fan by far in fact imo he should never have held an office in this country. What I will say is I stand behind him 100% on not supporting France and am proud of the snub he handed France by not showing up to there supposed world March on terrorism. What the main stream media would have you believe is that Obama just simply snubbed his nose to France. Well in a way he did and good for him. Now I'll remind you in the wake of 911 France jumped on the band wagon against terrorism along with many other nations to stand by our side. This was short lived within weeks of 911 France simply bailed out stating they wanted nothing to do eradicating terrorism and even showed disdain towards Americans in the years after. The main stream media would have us all believe that France is one of our closest allies and we have simply turned our backs on them. Funny how they forget France was the one who turned there backs on us in the wake of the worst attack on US. soil sense ww2. So hold your heads high people we have abandon no nation who has not done so to us. For once Obama has done something right if France had held the course in the fight against terrorism and stood with us we would be standing proudly beside them. Sadly France turned there back on us in our time in need. As far as I'm concerned France can kiss my proud American @$$
Prime Minister Manuel Valls hasn't gone nearly far enough in France's 'war on terrorism'. If the world is EVER going to stop radical islam a method akin to the German tactic of removing the Jews is going to have to be undertaken. The false religion of islam is nothing short of cultism and it's teachings are, or should be, clear to any observer. They want any nonbeliever dead., that's you and me. I embrace a first strike offensive against ALL of islam radical or not. For eventually the 'nots' are going to become radicals, too.

I understand what Chuckie is saying, though enemy is a strong word to use to describe France, the old proverb "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" comes into play.
So does the old saying "experience is the best teacher." When France was hit on it's own soil and millions of people came out against the islamic terrorist attacks, the government can't sit back and ignore the festering boil known as islam any longer.
