Sheriff Tod Godwin said he believes two women and a man took a tan pit bull mix from a home in Hopeton then headed south in a U-Haul box truck down Route 50 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Probably a bigger issue than a stolen dog. May be a dogfighting ring down in that area.
