Tuesday in court was supposed to be a pretty straight forward day for Alec Guessford: Let the family court commissioner watch, on video, as five of his black classmates taunt, harass and beat him on a school bus in April. Watch his classmate promise to never, ever do it again.
Make a victim’s statement. Then get on with his life as a Dover, Delaware junior high student.
Four of the assailants had already pled guilty to various charges of misdemeanor assault and conspiracy — including the person who took the video and posted it.
But it got complicated when the fifth assailant, Tracy Matthews, decided to take his chances with a trial before the commissioner. Matthews said no matter what it seemed like on the video — he’s the one with the hoodie — he was not beating anyone. He was just looking for his headphones. The four assailants testified on behalf of their friend/accomplice.

My I hope they didn't handcuff him...the little punks are thugs!! I wonder why police would ever cuff these little exemplary youths???? Police should be allowed to use whatever means possible to control situations...and when that mouth opens put them on the ground.

This bs type of story, looking for my headphones, is given to administrators in schools all over this nation. Then it's the fault of those administrators when the suspension rate for AA students is high.

Angela Fowler, the judge, is a perfect example of the ignorance and corruption that permeates our judicial system. She obviously has as much business holding her position as the animal she's let loose. As long as these packs of animals, and make no mistake about it that is exactly what they are animals from a litter of social degenerates, are allowed to get away with their crimes they're going to continue. And, this judge has just abetted and fostered future muggings, probably worse.
