This is only the tip of the iceberg with that place. Wait until the Feds look into them fudging crime stats. The lies and deceit start from the top. The house of cards is about to fall.

I've got scars all over my body and I don't cry about them. The situation stinks, I agree. But scars aren't the end of the world.
It would be nice if the original poster had a story to go along with the pictures so Salisbury's finest wouldn't look so bad.
Those scabs are road rash. It happens when you fight people on concrete and asphalt. It doesn't mean brutality happened.
5:23 were all your scars due to misdameaner charges and caused by someone who has sworn to an oath of 'to protect and serve'? What was so bad that we as citizens needed to be protected from a juvenile riding a bike with no headlight and wearing headphones? Does the average juvenile or even adult know it is illegal in Maryland to wear headphones which cover or block both earrs? That law is not that well known!

What would happen if a 14 yr old disobeyed his parents and they tackled him and left this type of injury. Would they be locked up for child abuse?

How is it, yet another cop is in fear for his life from yet another unarmed person? And this time a 14yo riding a bike? No light on bike and wearing headphones is just a legal way to make contact and dig deeper, like a broken tag light is used to pull over motorists.
Good job hero, now another will grow up to distrust and hate cops.
Every time an officer brings up wrong doing by command staff they file bogus charges against the officer.

As an adult you are expected to know the law, as a juvenile you have to teach or tell them, you are not born knowing the law! knowing the law is not instinctual, nor is common sense!
It might be a good idea to teach young people to give their right name when asked. Where are you going or where have you been should not be answered by I don't know either. The part about I'm riding someone else's bike might be key.

That's what a kid looks like when he falls off of a bike. Big whoop. And if he was arguing with, or fleeing a police officer when it happened, big whoop again. I don't know if the common denominator in these incidents is the white cops, or the black kids involved. It does seem the black kids don't have much respect for the authority of police officers, white or black. What they are learning at home is that cops can't tell them what to do. That is just a terribly wrong way to raise a child. It encourages a child to do wrong, and then get injured as a result of the wrongdoing when caught. A parent does their child no favors raising them that way. This is a cultural problem, not a legal one.

NO one is required to identify themselves to leo, unless they are being charged with a crime. And it is no one's business, including leo, where one has been or where one is going.
No one should talk to a cop unless it is through an attorney. No good can come out of it. Police will use anything and everything against you in an attempt to charge you with something, anything.

Looks like a kid made several bad decisions that he has had to pay for! He lied about his name, his age, and tried to run from the police! So the cop stopped him, using his hands! I could understand if the cop shot him the outrage on this! But you BREAK the law or WILLFULLY DISOBEY an officer then expect to pay the consequences! The laws are in place for a reason!
10;47 the kops don't need to know who I am or where I'm going or where I've been. Unless they have a good reason to believe I've been involved in a crime they can go pound sand! especially for something as minor as riding a bike while wearing headphones! seriously I guess they've solved all the other major crimes and we are down to this and ticketing motorists?

I agree with the overall tenor of this conversation though. Officer Aita (if he even deserves that title) is moronic, fears for his life from a 15 year old child, and is easily guilty of using excessive force in a couple of different incidents here.

1:12 I am the one who posted that comment @9:52 and for your information I am NOT a cop! I work in Salisbury in a small business. I just believe in the laws! They are in place for a reason! If you are not informed on the laws of your area - READ UP! They are posted on the internet for FREE! IGNORANCE is not a reason to BREAK the LAW!!!!!

He very well should be scarred for life. Maybe now he will learn lying has consequences as does trying to run from the cops.
Anyone who sympathizes with this thug in training is a sick person. All actions can have consequences. As soon as children learn lying won't be tolerated the better off society is.
