You would be lucky if you can find 20 people who remember what that display is/was about.
Ireton and crew Certainly have given the taxpayers the business.
Better than it might have been.
The local area employment numbers shows that Salisbury and Wicomico are 'scavengers' when it comes to the business scene.
Businesses have all exited - with the exception of a few fast food joints. IMHO Salisbury and Wicomico are still in the Stone Age.
I don't wanna know how much they paid for that display
$2000:
$800 for some relative of a city official to print and frame the posters.
$600 for some relative of a city official to make the custom made table covering.
$200 for the $50 table bought at some city employees side business.
$400 for pay and overtime to some city employee to sit up the display after normal working hours on a holiday weekend.
Has the uneducated city administrator, Ireton's Arm Candy, done anything to earn his pay yet?
If the Mayor's position was made full time and paid $100,000 per year I would run for it.
The only thing he needs to do is say...yes boss.
It can't work if there is no one to work it.
