On May 30, 2014 at approximately 1838 hours Deputies from the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 12000-block of Swordfish Drive, West Ocean City for a Burglary investigation. On arrival the Deputies met with the victim who stated that two suspects had broken into his home though a closed window the previous evening and took an iPad tablet valued at $400.00. The Deputies conducted an investigation and identified the suspects as Victor Neaga, 22, and Anatolie Stratila, 22, both from Moldova.
On May 31, 2014 Deputies obtained warrants for first degree burglary and theft under $1000.00 for Neaga and Stratila. Within minutes of the issuance of the warrants Ocean City Police located Stratila with the help of a witness and arrested him on the felony warrant. Stratila is being held on bond at the Worcester County Jail.
On June 1, 2014 Neaga was arrested by Ocean City Police on the outstanding felony warrant. Neaga is also being held on bond at the Worcester County Jail.
