Georgia-Pacific Closing Delaware Plant

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Georgia-Pacific says it is closing a packaging facility in Harrington by the end of the year, leaving about 95 workers without jobs.
The privately held company says operations at the Delaware Color-Box facility will be consolidated at other packaging facilities in Indiana and Mississippi.
Georgia-Pacific, an Atlanta-based paper, packaging and building products company, also said this week that it is closing a fiberboard plant in Southside Virginia that employs about 80 workers and will move its production to a facility in Texas.

That came as a surprise!
I could see this happening in Maryland, but not in Delaware. I guess the liberal policy's that we have in Maryland have spilled over into Delaware?

No it's called business..... It's life companies change....it just effects Delmarva much more because do much has been lost already...the fall of Delmarva has been going on for a long time....you can point fingers all you would like but it will do nothing to fix the inevitable.....
