Lt. Governor Anthony Brown's gubernatorial campaign manager is calling on Attorney General Doug Gansler to apologize for remarks, in which Gansler said Brown was relying on his race to get elected.
"Doug Gansler is the only candidate that is using race to divide people in this election, and attack the lieutenant governor on his long record of service. Gansler should apologize for his insensitive comments, so we can just move on," Brown campaign manager Justin Schall told WBAL News.
Gansler's campaign strategist Doug Thornell had not returned a call from WBAL News Tuesday, but he told the Washington Post that Gansler won't apologize.

He has nothing to apologize about! The truth is the truth.
Its a fact.
Really doesn't matter anymore. they are all of the same party.
It's fun to watch the democrats go back to their racist kkk roots.
Sorry, the Truth hurts Brown...Suck it up BRO!
no need to apologize. the blacks are
going to follow the black man when they vote. brown could tell them he was going to nuke the ghettos in baltimore, and the fools would vote for him. they are brainwashed racist blacks.
If it was not an issue there would not have been a need to comment on it.
Gansler bend over and tell Brown to kiss it.map
And... Here... We... Go...
This Gansler is one sharp cookie.Do you see what he's done? Now if he apologizes,Brown CAN'T use the race card.
These are two Democ-rats trying to get more Air Time on Hedlines News on a phony issue. And TV media jumps on it and public goes wild. Just like they planned. People, don't believe the hype - its just the show for the public's eyes.
Gansler makes a comment about Brown's race, but makes a point of announcing his running mate's race?
Hmmmmm.
Jim Ireton said during his campaign he didn't see color (said nothing about gender), but dresses down his highest ranking African American and fires her in front of witnesses.
Hmmmm.
Jim Ireton introduces Tony Brown in his race for governor, but the Daily Times puts out an article saying Ireton was a contender to run with Gansler?
Hmmmm.
I think the translation is:
"We're a bunch of media whores. Anything to get publicity for name recognition."
Also, if someone attends a private meeting as a spy and it's illegal, maybe the Attorney General should see that he is prosecuted. No? Then maybe it's not illegal?
What a bunch of immature chumps.
