DELEGATE RON GEORGE HOLDS O'MALLEY ACCOUNTABLE FOR MORE JOB LOSS

Annapolis, MD—“Once again, within 24 hours we have two more examples of Maryland losing jobs. First, we learn from a Ball State annual national study that Maryland dropped to a D grade in manufacturing and then today we learn that Carnival Cruise lines has announced it is going to move its cruise ship, The Pride, from Baltimore,” said Delegate Ron George (R) Annapolis.

“Governor Martin O’Malley has created a crisis in Maryland as it relates to maintaining and creating private sector jobs. These job losses add further evidence to the ramifications of Martin O’Malley’s taxes, fees, and expanded government,” stated George.

“The fact that Maryland received such a poor score in terms of creating manufacturing jobs is unacceptable. This poor ranking followed by Carnival Cruise making the business decision to move The Pride out of Baltimore is just further evidence that we must build a new Maryland if we want to create new jobs,” George said.

“The Carnival Cruise line alone is more than $90 million dollars in economic activity and 220 jobs. Add to this the continued loss of so many manufacturing jobs across Maryland and it is clear for all to see we need a change,” said George.

George continued, “Once again the EPA is forcing an unworkable mandate on Maryland citizens and businesses. Instead of being out front challenging the EPA Governor O’Malley waits for another business to leave before he acts. This Governor is more interested in appealing to the far left in his quest for the presidency, thus sacrificing the future of Marylanders. His legacy is one of higher taxes, more regulation and broken dreams,” concluded George.

During the first 4 years of the Obama dictatorship, my presently 85 year old parents, who have been retired for about 30 years got an IRS notice for about 60K unpaid back taxes plus$$$. They immediately went to a family CPA (former IRS agent) and she worked trying to get it all straighted out. She did that and a few months later IRS tryed again, repeat, repeat. In the end they owed the IRS nothing! But during their many hours with her, she told them that when Obamacare kicks in, untold old and newer businesses will be closing their doors for good. Their current diminished profit margins barely make business worthwhile at present, but Obamacare will sink their ship and they know it. Things are about to get far worse then anything we've seen in this past 10 years of fiscal decline. You Dems are the guilty dogs that forced this to happen and you will soon reap your well deserved harvest, the true power of your liberal choices first hand, if and when this economy crashs. There will be unfettered crime, unlike anything we've ever seen. There will be no welfare checks for the entitled ingrates, that currently exist only because of working class Americans, instead of working themselves, because they (the welfare receivers) are to lazy to do anything but leach. They will become full time criminals overnight, just as soon as the last FREE drys up. Many of us have made preparations for this onslaught of animals. We have our guns, our ammo and intend to defend all that we own. 911 will be a futile phone call, because nobodies gonna come help you. You, O-liberal Demogods, on the other hand, having no need for guns, because you thought Uncle Osamma would protect you, will become lambs at the slaughter. Obama's back home in Africa today making preparations for his next big move, King Obama, African dictator. Maryland is just one of many states that will soon be bankrupt. All of us that have money in the bank and cash plus other assets stuck away realize that you cannot borrow from your future, you must save and plan for it, nothing else will work. Libs don't get it, their fiscal irresponsibility is proof.

So, it looks like they are the second business to leave the port, the auto importer being the other. A direct impact of the "Rain Tax". Our port business will run to Norfolk as other businesses run from the inland areas. There is no escape from MOM's taxes, and jobs will be killed.

What a shame...
