Sulaiman Abu Ghaith is charged with conspiring to kill Americans. But his lawyers must take a furlough because of budget cuts.
One of the nation's biggest terrorism trials is facing a months-long delay because of budget cuts in Washington.
A judge Monday proposed a September trial date for Osama Bin Laden's son-in-law and mouthpiece Sulaiman Abu Ghaith.

He's not a US citizen and as a terrorist he doesn't deserve the same rights as Americans. The only evidence they have on him is the things he said, and we all know that as Americans we have the right to free speech. This is as slam dunk for his defense attornies and a sad case for taxpayers who will be footing the bill for his trial and extra security. His butt belongs at Gitmo eating dog food!
Please string him up , This country is doomed.
Just use a couple of the 1.4 billion rounds on him; problem solved, money saved.
Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he gets pardoned.
1:56 Just like in 2001, we are witnessing the future suicide bombers being released into the world. Almost every one of the dogs who were involved in 9/11 were already on watch lists, or we had them in custody and let them go.
They should be dead already, never allowed a trial.
