WHAT: Open House

SALISBURY, MD – Wicomico Public Library is holding an Open House for English language learners and teachers on Tuesday, April 16th at 5:30 p.m. upstairs in the new Language Lab which is located on the Children’s side of the Main Library. There will be information about local services for the immigrant community/limited English residents, as well as a chance to see the new Language Lab. Library tours will be available as well as the opportunity to sign up for a library card.
Wicomico Public Library received $15,000 to support outreach to county residents who are learning English and becoming citizens. The Library is one of 150 American Dream libraries nationwide, and one of only 11 that received funding in 2012 and 2013 from the American Library Association and Dollar General Literacy Foundation.
