Pavement & Rehabilitation Project in Sussex County Will Require Nighttime Lane Restrictions

Beginning Sunday, April 14
Lewes -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that a pavement and rehabilitation project will begin on Sunday, April 14. This project will consist of milling, hot-mix patching, and paving. Intermittent lane and shoulder restrictions will occur nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday evening until Friday morning, pending weather. Flaggers will be on site to direct motorists.

1st Location
Sunday, April 14 until Friday, May 17
Route 24 from Love Creek Bridge to Plantation Road

2nd Location
Sunday, April 28 until Friday, May 31
Route 24 between William Street Road and Maryland Camp Road

George & Lynch of Dover, Delaware, is the contractor for these improvements.

Access to all businesses and residences within the project limits will be maintained throughout the duration of this contract.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution, slow down in work zones, and expect delays.
