MSP Gun Press Release

DATE & TIME: March 10, 2013 @ 2124 hours
LOCATION: RT 13 S/B @ Wicomico Tourist Center Wicomico County, MD

CASE NUMBER: 13-54-001923
CRIME: 1. Transport Handgun in vehicle.
2. Felon in possession of regulated firearm
VICTIM: 
Charged: 1. Hilbert Allen Smith B/M 29 yoa of Bridgeville, DE
Jordan Trey Speight B/M 27 yoa of Smyrna, DE
Sean Christopher Hudson B/M 26 yoa of Delmar, MD
Frank Dorman B/M 26 yoa of Seaford, DE

BRIEF RESUME: On the above date and time, Troopers from the Salisbury Barrack stopped the above subjects in a 1999 Chrysler Van for an equipment violation. There were certain criminal indicators present which precipitated a K-9 scan of the vehicle The K-9 alerted to the Chrysler and a search of the Chrysler revealed a loaded handgun in the vehicle. Dorman and Smith were charged as a felon in possession of a regulated firearm due to prior felony arrests. All charged were transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center to appear before the Court Commissioner.

So, this is what happens when we impose the laws THAT ARE ALREADY ON THE BOOKS!!! Good job Troopers! Now tell our Governor to keep away from more laws!

Convicted felons can't have handguns. Attention to detail...no 2nd Amendment issue here. Good job by all involved.
