Bay Bridge Admin Says Closure Was Success

The man who makes the decision to close Maryland's Bay Bridge says the closure during last week's winter storm was a success.

Gordon Garrettson tells The Capital of Annapolis that there was no structural damage to the bridge, and there were no serious injuries or fatalities.

He says, "As far as we're concerned - that's a win."

This guy is a JOKE, the bridge should have been CLOSED to trucks in the first place,Now he is taking credit for what he could have prevented in the first place A ACCIDENT.

Lemme see.. there's an accident on the bridge. There is no real damage found to the bridge nor were there any fatalities. It's a good thing they closed the bridge or the accident may have caused more damage. Just imagine how many lives can be saved by closing the Interstate system for 24 hours! Uh, did the OC EMS Wive's Club write this?

I have never seen so many feel good repairs and excuses for doing worthless things in my life as I have seen on this bridge. Everytime something happens, they use afterthought.
