Rapper Lupe Fiasco Thrown Offstage During Pre-Inauguration Event After Anti-Obama Rant

Rapper Lupe Fiasco was thrown offstage and escorted off the premises of a Washington, D.C. concert hall during a pre-inauguration concert Sunday night, after going on an anti-war, anti-Obama rant, according to concertgoers.

Josh Rogin, a reporter with Foreign Policy magazine, tweeted late Sunday, “Lupe Fiasco just got thrown off stage here at the Hamilton Live after he went on an anti-Obama diatribe mid set.”

“So Lupe played one anti-war song for 30 min and said he didn’t vote for Obama,” he continued, ”and eventually was told to move on to the next song…Lupe refused to move to the next song so a team of security guards came on stage and told him to go.”

Rapping is so easy even a cave man can do it.I did'nt know it was possible to mess it up until now.

Rap isn't my first choice in music but, Lupe Fiasco is my newest hero.

Fiasco (born in Chicago) is a rapper who is telling the brothers the way it is and that's not what they want to hear.
His lyrics focus on social issues such as absent parents.
He grew up seeing the mess the residents have made of their own communities and he has the wisdom to see politicians like obama are a major cause of every social issue facing this country. It's pathetic that more African Americans do not have his wisdom.

In 2011 he called obama a terrorist so he's been anti obama for awhile. Goes to show what brain trusts are running the show that they would even have him perform at a pre inaugural event but as is par for course anything associated with obama will turn out either out and out a fiasco or not the way intended. It's what happens when amatures are in charge.

Free speech? ONLY if its what THEY want to hear. And THAT was the kind of "free speech" imagined by the Founding Fathers; not rap, of course, but the expression of sentiments that are contrary to the government's positions. Coming soon to a neighborhood near you, only it won't be a stage you are removed from --- it will be your HOUSE.

If you listen to the video, this guy was obviously under the influence of something. You could hear one of the audience members ask if he was tripping.

What exactly is your point?

He gets my respect and I wouldn't listen to his music for love or money!!!

He wasn't asked to leave because of what he was saying, he was leaving because he kept repeating the same thing over and over. Something was wrong with him and they got him off stage so he didn't embarass himself. That is my point. Look it up.
