FED GOV: ANNUAL AUTO-RELATED DEATHS THREE TIMES HIGHER THAN GUN-RELATED DEATHS

According to the federal government, the number of people killed in automobile-related deaths annually is approximately three times higher than the number of people killed by all gun-related deaths combined -- handgun, shotgun, and rifle.

Yet there is, to my knowledge, no concerted effort to ban automobiles.

In a post on Jan. 3, I pointed out that FBI crime statistics show more people are consistently killed each year with hammers and clubs than with rifles. This information was pertinent because Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is planning to push legislation to ban several classes of rifles as we speak. Here is the link to her legislation.

all we hear is ban this gun or ban that clip, i have been a gun owner for 35 years, if giving mine up would stop or slow down the murders i would have no problem with that, but but since we dont live in utopia its not gone to change anything, i have about 10 active and ret law enforcement friends that feel the same way, i would like to hear any other law enforcement officers view on what they would do to solve the problem, but you never hear any of them speak up about it, Joe maybe you could ask the question on salisbury news.

12:30, it's a children's book aimed at the bedtime story crowd who has yet to have learned to read on their own. AKA 1-3 year olds.

Maybe some day you will learn how to "Google"!

Good luck!
