Top Army General Demoted For Lavish Spending

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has demoted four-star General William E. Ward over allegations that he spent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on a lavish lifestyle while head of U.S. Army Africa Command (AFRICOM), Lolita Baldor of The Associated Press reports.
Ward will retire as a three-star lieutenant general, in spite of America's top military officer arguing against the demotion, and will also repay the government $82,000.

Gee, can we do that with the Commander-in-Chief?

He was only emulating Michelle O. Isn't that what the Obama administration is all about?

can the US taxpayers be reimbursed for all the obama vacation since he's been in office. wouldn't pay off the nations debt but it would be a start in the right direction. also his pay for the three months of constant campaigning and no presidential duties handled. i believe the taxpayers would have a bit more faith if that were to happen!

Not his fault. Halliburton told him they had it covered. Chaney laughing again.

He's not the only general who spends like this. It's just a cover story, like Petraeus and his affair.

There have been at least half a dozen generals leave recently. Obama is removing the military leadership to install people more loyal to him and his plans.

Coincidently, a purge like this happens whenever a socialist revolution begins.
