See,Cordish Cos knows this is how you get rich or richer in America. You donate a little money to the democrats campaigns and it pays back in millions. That is why the American dream of work hard and you will get ahead is gone.

A win win for jobs.

The Cordish Family is possibly worth more on the bottom line than the State of Maryland is! They are so deeply imbedded in the state democrat party that when they ask for zoning, traffic lights at a retail facility they own or to land their private jet on I-97 it's just a formality. I have seen them do things were if you or I did it the state would lynch us on the capital lawn.

This will go over about as well as it did in DE. Nothing but a hugh loser that will be needed to be propped up with tax payers money.
Anyone who fell for this gambling BS is not looking into the big picture. MD has already had to give millions to the casinos to keep them afloat not to mention the state jobs that HAD to be created in order to oversee these casino operations. Nothing but shuffling money and making those not inclined to think into looking into the big picture that casinos are making money for the state.

Casinos are like the speed camera programs. Politicans like omalley claim it for jobs as in the case of casinos and safety with the speed cameras. The bottom line is about more expanded STATE jobs and appointments to "boards" of buddies to oversee these things. It's money shuffling is all. I don't know what the state's budget is for gaming but the program omalley created to oversee cameras has a budget of 50mil w/approx 50 employees. If the counties/cities that participate divided up the budget money it would be more than the suppposed "free" revenue they are now seeing.
