With the new Maryland laws that were passed during yesterday's election, this morning was a horrific day of news for Marylanders to wake up to including the results of this Act which should be entitled..."The NIGHTMARE Act."
Can I sneak into Mexico. I heard Mexico is increasing the boarder patrol by 50% because of all the Americans trying to sneak out of this country this morning.

Have to agree with 1005AM....a major disgrace! I saved for 18 years and gave up lots of things that I could have purchased to help get my kids through a Maryland college (all that I could afford) at FULL rate. And then now the illegals immigrants can send their kids to a Maryland college - most likely for free or reduced rate due to their low income. Makes me hate Maryland even more now and wonder why I am even staying here now. If I can sell my house at a half decent amount, I am out of here!

Amazing... The at large tax paying citizen gets to fund all the new benefits for illegals, gays, and casino operators. These benefactors pay no or reduced taxes. Only in Maryland.
What does this law actually do? It puts education in closer reach for the largest chunk of the population that can least afford it. For all of you people out there that can not get past the nationality or color of their skin(aka closet racist), this means that there is one less brown person that you have to worry about robbing you. Of course you might have to mow your own lawn for a while but you probably need to excerise as well.
This is not an entitlement program. This is actually a program based on the merit of the individual and their ability to get an education. Any white brown black yellow red tan or pink person living in the state of Maryland gets the same privelage.
This is simply what is best for the country. Allowing the people that come to this country the oppertunity to improve their lives will only benefit our society as a whole.
I am a business owning republican living in Salisbury and I voted for this becasue as the saying goes "High tide raises all ships". I am not affraid of the cometition. I welcome the people that take advantage of this with open arms becasue they have done what the conservatives constantly hold up as a shining example. "They" have improved their lives and "they" are working towards self reliance.
So you cna not have it both ways either you want people to take care of themselves or you want people to stay on the government tit.
