Sandy Could Dump 6 Inches Of Rain on Eastern Shore

Hurricane Sandy (track on interactive radar) -- blamed for as many as 11 deaths-- could make landfall anywhere from the Outer Banks of North Carolina to New England by Monday.

"A front moving east will combine with Sandy coming from the Bahamas, and where these two collide, that's where you get a really energized storm," 11 Insta-Weather PLUS Chief Meteorologist Tom Tasselmyer said Thursday.
"The front goes through here Saturday night into Sunday morning; and Sandy comes Sunday evening into Monday ... Mainly, Monday would be the worst day around here."

I remember the last storm, it was something. We had six lawn chairs in back yard, two of them was blown over.
