In a video obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama tells an audience of black ministers, including the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, that the U.S. government shortchanged Hurricane Katrina victims because of racism.
“The people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much!” Obama shouts in the video, which was shot in June of 2007 at Hampton University in Virginia. By contrast, survivors of Sept. 11 and Hurricane Andrew received generous amounts of aid, Obama explains. The reason? Unlike residents of majority-black New Orleans, the federal government considers those victims “part of the American family.”

Sickening, embarassing,sad but the true feelings of this fraud that we the people put into office. Anyone should be ashamed of this action and if not you're no better than he is.
The more I see and hear of Obama's people the less I do care about them. It's gotten to the point where decent people have no use for the cess pool of humanity that the 47% is. They are nothing but moochers and sponges and I have no use for them. I am tired of all the PC crap. These people are beneath me and will be treated as such until they wise up and become productive instead of sucking off the tax payers.

Well, lets see. Army Corp of Engineers did short change the levee systems that protect the poorer neighborhoods. And lets see, haven't plenty of you here on this forum as well as your GOP candidate written off the poor. I mean, those people just want to be taken care of in your view.
Funny, in one breadth you have folks like 910 speaking on the right. Then in the other, it's supposed to be soooo outrageous that Obama makes a comment that reflects the sentiments that you espouse.
Why is it so funny 9:32? Obama as usual is lying. The right has called him out on it. If the 47% want to be respected then they need to be honest and start calling a spade a spade. Until then they can not be taken seriously. Decent people do not defend a liar and their voices do not resonate with the average person anymore.

9:31 The bottom line is levees can not protect New Orleans no matter how well engineered and built. For years pre Katrina this has been known and efforts to implement a flood control plan were repeatedly rebuffed by environmentalists who fretted over the effects on the ecosystems.

Obama is lying in this video where he says the Stafford Act was waived for 9/11 but not for Katrina. That is completely untrue and an out and out lie. The problem is when his people the 47% do not bother to do their own fact checking and fall for everything out of this liar's mouth.
FYI-Since the 1960's the Army Corps of Engineers have been saying the levee systems are flawed and can not stand a hurricane. They were bucked and obstructed every step of the way to correct the problem by the environmentalists and the democrats.
It's about time people realize every problem in this country is and has been caused by democrats.

And anyone who thinks that this nation's problems are spawned solely by one political party or the other is clearly drunk off the koolaid. I'm not sure if he is reverting back, making it up or what. You never can tell with him. In this video he uses a ghetto type accent, in others he uses a middle eastern accent. I wonder which accent he will be speaking with tonight at the debate.
What's interesting is Obama the senator was one of 14 US senators who voted against the release of the stafford funds to go to katrina. And then just about 10 days later he goes to this rally and blantantly lies and makes no mention that he himself voted to withhold the money. This abomination is a pathological liar and stupid people do not see it or do not care. what a bunch of dumb arses we are surrounded by! He is a piece of crap through and through.
