That's just about as long as President Barack Obama has been in office.
Romney and Republicans pounced immediately, gleefully saying they couldn't agree more with Biden's "stunning admission" to a North Carolina crowd. The Obama campaign, meanwhile, decried it as "another desperate and out-of-context attack."
"This is deadly earnest, man," Biden said, urging on a crowd in Charlotte. "How they can justify — how they can justify — raising taxes on the middle class that's been buried the last four years? How in Lord's name can they justify raising their taxes with these tax cuts?" he asked.

joe finally speaks some truth and still his foot is in his mouth...
The middle class has been buried for MORE than the last 4 years and I don't see it improving after November, whoever is elected!
If biden thinks the middle class has been buried for the past several years, all he has to do is look in the mirror with his boss-man to figure out WHO is responsible for this dilemma.
And, commenting on the last line: "...How in the Lord's name can they justify raising their taxes with these tax cuts?"
You don't raise taxes with tax cuts. You raise them with tax increases!
How did Biden ever pass grade school with his poor grammar?
