Obama, No Ban On Discrimination Against Gay Contractors

President Obama does not plan to issue a ban on discrimination against gay federal contractors. Some gay rights groups had asked for a presidential order to that effect.

Press secretary Jay Carney said the president would support legislation banning discrimination against gay contractors. Gay rights groups said that Congress won't pass such a law. They said the White House should step in with an executive order.

This will certainly get him the California vote for president.

This demand proves gays want special treatment not equality. Gays are just another group that has been manipulated into a voting block like they tried to do with women using women's right's which failed terribly.

Wow, gay contractors as a voting block? I've been a contractor for over 30 years and have never met or even heard of a gay contractor, although there are probably a couple in the closet. I mean, come on, as a contractor you could break a fingernail or something. I can't even imagine someone on a construction site wearing flipflops and humming show tunes.
