When an individual passes away, regardless of his of her ideological positions, one would expect he or she would receive respect. In the case of new media mogul Andrew Breitbart, who died early in the morning on Thursday, there has been a surge of vile commentary spewing across the Twitterverse. From comparisons to Hitler to individuals tweeting that they are content the pundit has passed, the messages are disturbing at best.
Below, The Blaze has assembled some of the most disturbing messages we’ve seen on Twitter over the past few hours
@darrenfiorello: Andrew Breitbart died? Is it wrong that I’m happier about that than when they got bin Laden and Saddam?
@readjunk: I wonder if the state of Douchery will lower it’s flags at half mast? #AndrewBreitbart
@johnkapp: Andrew Breitbart was a racist, sexist, homophobe. Good riddance.
@towndrinker: good riddance to bad rubbish. no reason to mourn someone who made it their business to make this world a less pleasant place. #breitbart

You guys talk about the white house burning down, the pres. getting shot, armed revolution, and sling despicable insults at the first lady every day. Yet you are somehow shocked when the same vitriol is turned against a conservative pundit?
How about we all just step back from the edge and realize that most of us really care about this country and our combined prosperity even though we may have different ideas about how to get there. We are all humans and we are all Americans. The pettiness espoused by the far right/left is ripping this country apart at the seams.
breitbart was supposed to release a very damaging video on march 1st. There appears to be alot of misinformation concerning his untimely death. Stay tuned!
Yep. This is very strange. Like the Kennedy assassination. This will be a massive cover-up. Let's see the Vid. Someone has to have it.
thank you,7:56, for probably the only rational response to this post.
Take note everyone. This is typical hate filled rhetoric from the left.

Pray tell, who exactly are "you guys"? I can say, without a doubt, that I have never spoken or typed anything about the white house burning, assassination, or armed revolution. Nor have I slung any insults at the first lady. Your comparing apples to hot dogs. The issue at hand is common respect after the death of another human being. I can't stand Chris Matthews, but if he passed away I have the decency to not feel the need to p*** on his grave.
1:19 please take a matter of ten minutes to look over the comments just on this blog alone. Then sit down and listen to Rush or Hannity any day of the week. You are trying to play coy but fortunately all the evidence is right in front of us. Then again, you are probably one of the idealogues that seems to think their side is God's gift to humanity and the other side is satan.

Please take a matter of ten minutes to get a grip on life. I view this blog frequently, and for the life of me I cannot recall seeing any comments celebrating the death of anyone. Perhaps you can point them out for me? I would not waste ten minutes of my life listening to or watching Rush or Hannity; but while we are on the subject, feel free to post comments or quotes of either of these men doing so, the aforementioned "evidence right in front of us". I'll wait.
Also, I have no "side" politically, I call ignorance as I see it, I don't care who or what you support.
