I thought you would get a chuckle out of this bill. The State wants to change its legal notice procedure from advertising Notices in newspapers to going online.
This year the House & Senate bill stands a very good chance of passage as the Senators sponsoring on the Senate side are pretty heavy hitters and usually get what they want. Here is the link HB-1355.
For The Daily Times - the equation would like like this:
HB-1355 + Passage = Less Revenue - (not good for Gannett).

This is a great idea! Many people don't take the newspaper any more. Especially that newspaper!
