Nineteen students and alumni represented by the American Civil Liberties Union filed the complaint in U.S. District Court in Sacramento on Wednesday.
The lawsuit is the latest fallout from the Nov. 18 incident, when campus police doused pepper-spray on sitting protesters who had set up an Occupy camp.

no one deserves to be treated that way and if you feel otherwise I feel sorry for you. Peaceful protest is as much a part of the democratic process as anything else.

If the governor knew they were wrong, what makes you think you are better than the governor OF THAT STATE where the abuse happened?

I wouldnt have a problem with this however most Occupy people are too stupid and when asked why they are there they cant come up with a intelligent reason for their presence.... The stupid ones deserve what they get as they are there to simply stir the pot.... Spray away and if they still dont leave... Make them leave the Frank Rizzo way....
Rizzo is gone and you watch too much tv. These 'cherry picked stupid ones' are smart enough to know they are getting screwed and losing rights, and are doing something about it.
