VICTIM IDENTIFIED IN WICOMICO COUNTY HOMICIDE AND $2500 CASH REWARD BEING OFFERED

(SALISBURY, MD) – The victim of an apparent homicide in Wicomico County has been identified and a $2500 cash reward is being offered by Crime Solvers of the Eastern Shore to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.

The victim is identified as Elmer Charles Duffy, Jr., 54, of the 1100-block of Kiowa Avenue in Salisbury. Duffy was found deceased in a 1991 white Oldsmobile convertible parked on the roadside in the area of the 700-block of Olivia Street in Salisbury yesterday evening.

Maryland State Police and the Wicomico County Bureau of Investigation are continuing their search for the individual(s) responsible for the death of Duffy. Shortly before 6:30 p.m. yesterday, Maryland State Police from the Salisbury Barrack were dispatched to the area where Duffy’s body was discovered, for a report of shots fired.

A $2500 cash reward is being offered by Crime Solvers of the Eastern Shore. Callers may remain anonymous.
