O'Brian and Gere Files Lawsuit Against City of Salisbury

The Engineering firm O'Brian and Gere have hired, (my attorney, above) Bruce Bright to represent them in a lawsuit against the City of Salisbury for violating the Freedom of Information Act.

We're digging into this information as we speak and will hopefully provide you with more details but clearly the City has not been forthcoming with providing the proper information required by law and there's a possibility this could actually throw their lawsuit referencing the Waste Water Treatment Plant right into the trash.

Can they still subpoena BT even though she no longer holds office? Ireton inherited this one

If this is true, the city needs to fire its worthless city attorney immediately.

How long does it take for a case like this to get to the end game, Joe?

Oh my, please tell me the City Attorney is not covering for BT and all the sweet little side deals, how damn dumb is Jimbo for keeping this guy as the City Attorney?

6:47, usually 2 years for a small case, which this is not. Might run 5 or so. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, enjoy paying yhose MDE fines as they build...

Once again, you guys are assuming the mayor has power he doesn't have. He can't just fire the city attorney. He would need a majority on the council to support the measure, and he couldn't get a 3-2 vote confirming the sun rose in the East even after Terry held 9 months of hearings on the matter.

What are the City's legal fees for this and the WTP fiasco? Wilber must be a millionaire now.

Somebody from the city had to sign off on the faulty design on a contract of approval. Who was it?

Somebody wrote a contract that only insured this $80 million WWTP for $1 million. Who signed that contract?

This is why we need Campbell, Cohen and Spies, because they aren't afraid to ask questions about legalities and liabilties regarding projects using taxpayer monies.

Councils of the past were merely rubber stamps to approve anything Barrie Tighlman wanted.

Yup, I'm talking about you, Cathcart, Comegys, Shields, Dunn and Louweasle.

You are correct, win or lose, either way Wilber wins our taxpayer dollars!
