SALISBURY, MD-Gansu Song and Dance Theatre brings the pageantry of Chinese dance to Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall Auditorium during Silk Road, Flower Rain 7 p.m. Monday, December 12.
In 1979, the award-winning classic production was staged to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the National Dunhuang Holiday. The dance displays the richness of the culture and represents the city’s working class, as well as long-lasting friendships between the Chinese and people from abroad.
