Fatal Accident In Salisbury

Fatal Crash:

Troopers from the Salisbury BK responded to N/B U.S. Route 13 @ Dagsboro Rd in reference to a motor vehicle collision. Investigation revealed vehicle 1 was travelling northbound on U. S. Route 13, when it attempted to make a left onto Dagsboro Rd. The driver of vehicle 1 proceeded through the intersection against a red arrow, subsequently causing a collision with a second vehicle which was travelling S/B on U.S. Route 13. The occupants of both vehicles were transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for their injuries. The driver of vehicle 1 was issued the appropriate citations.
The passenger of vehicle 1 seated in the right front passenger seat, later succumbed to her injuries approximately 6 hours later.
